On Monday, John Gruber made a suggestion on Twitter:
The guy who owns rickroll.com should turn it into a URL shortening service.
Checking rickroll.com, I saw that it is just a domain parking page. I decided to see if any other rickroll.* domains were free, and in the list of available domains I saw rickroll.it. How could I resist?
After waiting nearly four days for the Italian domain registrar to process my registration, I present Rick Roll It! — a new URL shortening service. Enjoy.
